Check it out and make sure not to blink, or you'll miss it!

Ken :)

P.S. This video was a little gem I found on the internet, and is not connected to either the ST:P2 or Starship Saladin productions.

yeah, she kindof shot in and out kinda quick! I had to go back and look again to spot her.
The only thing that bugs me about the Phase II Enterprise is the Registration number plastered on the sides of the lower hull. I'm not convinced that would have stayed. All of the "Offical" art I've ever seen on her was concept-oriented. I have to beleive the numbers would have been removed- it's too cartoon-like to leave in place.

I don't really mind it, but I think it would work better a little smaller. But since they had to take them off the nacelles, it needed to go somewhere. Of course, ST:TMP put them back on the nacelles which looks better. I think it's a nice looking ship though.

Yes. I really don't see much difference really between Phase II and the TMP verison other than the nacelle pylon design.

Well, the Phase 2 Enterprise had a saucer closer to TOS in shape and detailing, and it still had the older style deflector dish. It really looks like an in-between design to me.

Looks like Saladins got a pretty fast engine in 'er! I like Phase2's (fan series) Enterprise approach better. Don't know why, it just looks better. And the numbers are smaller! :)

I have to admit I like the TMP nacelles and sensor dish better. I don't know if that's because I'm used to those designs or what, but somehting about these verisons just doesn't sit right with me.

You know, the irony of the title of this thread is amazing to me.... :)

When I created the thread, I had no clue I would be invited to be part of the Phase 2 project!

Anyhow, here is a little gem I found on the internet to share with you all, from our shoot at Ft. Ticonderoga, from the episode "Kitumba."

Enjoy!

Ken

Ken, perhaps we should add this picture to your topic - because in June 2009, Phase 2 REALLY met the Saladin! - or at least they met you, it`s Captain.

;)
