Some of us here use Poser or Daz/Studio in the making of our various projects. As such, we are always on the look out for the models , uniforms and so on that we need. I have not seen a thread like this one here, so I thought I would start one.
And what better model to start off with- other than our favorite ships- than the Guardian of Forever? as seen in "Nova Trek: Guardian's Child". It's now available for registered members to download at Xcalibur Productions:

Richard Merknet's site is full of cool and unusual Star Trek meshes for Poser and 3ds Max and VUE. The Antares I had made and posted images of was one of his models. All I did was change the NCC number. I also am implementing his Tomcat fighter for use with "Starship Saladin." New out recently is the Preserver Obelisk for Poser and Vue. :)

Went back through my threads and tried to combine the links I've posted into one place so folks can find them easier:

For those that need to convert 3DS or lightwaveto an obj file, there's a free program called Poseray. It can be found here:

http://mysite.verizon.net/sfg0000/

For good character morphs and textures, Illusion designs has some of the best I've ever seen:

http://illusions-designs.net/catalog/

For movie based models Ken suggested Star Trek Meshes:

http://wolf359a.anet-stl.com/trekmesh.html

I'll add more as I come across 'em.

More;

The offical site:
http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/index.html

Need a symbol? a Banner or flag? Here's where to find one:
http://www.st-minutiae.com/academy/anth ... index.html

Blueprints of all kinds:
http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/index-bp.html

Need photo references from TOS? Here's the TrekCore Link:
http://tos.trekcore.com/gallery/index.php

Need photo refernces of the Original Enterprise model? Go here:
http://www.mjtsc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/new/1701.htm

For realistic space backgrounds nothing beats an actual astronomy program. I use this one- Celestia- and it's free:
http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/

For converting Game mods to obj I use MilkShape 3D with it's R4 plug in. You can get both here:
http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/ms3d/download.html

Foundation 3D has alot of ships. But mostly in lightwave. You also need to be a Premier Member to access some of them:

Some more links-
For ships of various eras and races:

http://www.staryards.com/

http://www.trekmeshes.ch/

http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/

http://xcalpro.com/tng/news.php

You'll need a program called Blender for these:
http://stblender.iindigo3d.com/meshes_startrek.html

The hard-to-find Star Trek Australia:
http://www.startrekmeshes.com/

3D Gladiators. Note they had a 5 post policy before you can download stuff:
http://www.3dgladiators.com/

This one is a site for game mods. You need some other programs to convert them to objs:
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/fi ... /Ships;639

Another game mod site with a WIDE variety of ships- all races and eras:

This is a tutorial I put together a few years ago for getting several characters into a scene when Poser simply won't handle more than one or two due to file size.

Have an enemy Romluan ship that needs a cloaking device? Never fear, I just finished one in obj format. If you want a copy, just e-mail me:

Update: The Cloaking Device is now available for download at Xcal:
