I've read it and was very disappointed. It's basically "hello and Good-bye". A lot of opportunities were missed. They could have introduced different uniforms, a different ship... by changing everyone's gender, they really changed nothing because none o the relationships were effected by the change. They had an opportunity to introduce and explore her universe before bringing his into it and they didn't do it.

Again, missed opportunities all the way around.

Although I haven't read the comic, Nova Trek probably has done it better because it is more than one story. It has its own continuity to fall back on for more stories. I've really enjoyed them. Any plans for more stories?

Interestingly enough, the first time I saw a Trek gender reversal after "Turnabout Intruder" was in one of the New Voyages short story collections, the story is "The Procrustean Petard".

Plus, more recently, I've seen quite a few cosplays with two womans' costumes/makeup based on Kirk and Spock. So mdbruffy is continuing a long running trend.

"Space, the Final Frontier! These are the comics of the Destroyer Tamerlane...!"

"Attention, Klingon vessel, this is the USS Lollipop of Doom.....I mean USS Tamerlane!"

"If you come down to the forum today, you're in for a BIG surprise! NINJA TRIBBLES!"

"Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice? INCOMING!" - old Klingon proverb!
