For those of you that haven't heard the news yet, Neil Armstrong passed away today.

Rest In Peace Neil Armstrong... Your accomplishments set imaginations around the world on fire!

"Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction where ever we go."

Condolences to his family and friends. A sad loss indeed.

He was apparently a very unassuming man, but because of the Apollo 11 mission, a true pioneer. I loved the story I heard from UK TV astronomer Patrick Moore, after the mission, during a tour of the UK in the 70's. After all the publicity interviews, Armstrong sat down with amateur astronomer Moore and said to him, something along the lines of "Thank goodness, now we can talk about the science!"

I think this quote, from NASA chief Charles Bolden paying tribute to him as "one of America's great explorers" sums it up.

"As long as there are history books, Neil Armstrong will be included in them, remembered for taking humankind's first small step on a world beyond our own."

Can't take that unique achievement away! RIP Neil Armstrong.

"Space, the Final Frontier! These are the comics of the Destroyer Tamerlane...!"

"Attention, Klingon vessel, this is the USS Lollipop of Doom.....I mean USS Tamerlane!"

"If you come down to the forum today, you're in for a BIG surprise! NINJA TRIBBLES!"

"Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice? INCOMING!" - old Klingon proverb!
