Played The Crawford Inheritance again finally and a little progress was made. It can be read at:

http://www.yog-sothoth.com/modules.php? ... Max_Writer

Characters are:

• Benjamin Willows - museum cuarator
• Professor Beurigard Johanson - Assistant Professor of Archaeology at Miskatonic University
• Veronica Vale - Professor Johanson’s fourth cousin and flapper
• Liam Smith - Private investigator (from Ireland originally)
• Leaf Johanson - lumberjack

They did pretty well but got frustrated when the Innsmouthers would talk. There are spoilers so watch out.

Since the old board got wiped out, other journals can be accessed at my blog here:

http://blog.myspace.com/max_writer

That should give access to all my writing on the internet.

I wonder, Max... should we move this to FanFiction News? I'm always fascinated by this, but I wonder if it'll get muddled down here in all kinds of other things... it does seem like it's kinda a news thing... don't you think? Would you like me to move it there?

That's fine by me. I sometimes worry that where I'm posting things is not really appropriate so I aim for what seems to work best. If you think it'd go better there, feel free to move it. No problem on this end.

BTW, we're supposed to play again this weekend. Hope you're enjoying these.

http://www.yog-sothoth.com/modules.php? ... Max_Writer

Characters were:

Liam Smith - P.I.
Professor Beaurigard Johanson - Asst. Prof of Archaeology at M.U.
Victoria Vale - Flapper
Benjamin Willows - Asst. Curator
Leaf Johanson - Lumberjack
Chip Mathers - Bounty Hunter
Geoffrey McKinley - Student at M.U.
Elliot Macy - Dilettante

NPC

Henry Walker - Butler to Macy

I’ve finally gotten to run a character I haven’t been able to run in a long while: Falstaff. He’s a sorcerer/fighter/dragon disciple and hangs with a pack of dwarves. The role-playing journal entry for the last game session is here:

http://blog.myspace.com/max_writer

Hope everyone likes it. Matt runs a fun D&D game.

I ran Call of C’thulhu this past weekend for a group of people who had never played the game before. The original beginning of this scenario appeared in the appendix of the 3rd Edition Call of C’thulhu boxed set as a scenario vignette for a beginning scenario for a campaign. I put together the rest of it, however.

It can be viewed at:

http://www.yog-sothoth.com/modules.php? ... Max_Writer

Moretown and Dr. Haylett are both real, as is the article by the Honorable D. P. THOMPSON of Montpelier. The Mad River Valley exists.

Characters are:

• Professor Kati Brooks - Professor of Science at Radcliffe
• Charles Puccano - Barber from Boston
• Grace O’Conner - zookeeper at the Franklin Park Zoo, Boston
• Claire McAdams - Talent agent from Boston
• Jason Carthage - Museum Curator, Boston Museum of Art

No spoilers really. This is an original scenario (of sorts).

The newest role playing journal for the d20 Star Wars game I occasionally play in is located at:

http://blog.myspace.com/max_writer

Terran Darklighter has left the party and has been replaced by the astromech droid R2-D42.

Thanks.

Just posted a role-playing journal for the sorcerer/dragon disciple Falstaff (my character in Matt McPike’s D&D campaign). It can be found here:

http://blog.myspace.com/max_writer

It takes place in the World of Greyhawk. The other characters are:

Groth Stoutbrew — dwarven cleric of Clangeddin Silverbeard
Turk Stoutbrew — dwarven paladin
Glorack — Turk’s rhino mount
Luke Cooper — Ranger
Alexiah — Dwarven Fighter (female)

Matt is taking us through the Throne of Iuz adventure from Dungeon Magazine - a little much for our characters, it turned out.
